Get the Most Out of Your Pumps with Optimized Operating Speeds

What You Will Learn

Like many motorized components with variable speed capability, pumps in HVAC systems and pressure booster systems can operate at many different speeds within a range or continuum. But even though a pump can operate at a certain speed, doesn't necessarily mean that it should. Almost every pump will have an optimal operating speed, at which the pump is providing the required flow, but using minimal energy. Design Envelope pumps offer high efficiencies across a range of duty points, but are capable of higher RPMs than pumps using standard induction motors.
