What You Will Learn

This session will provide an overview of common commercial building Heating, Ventilating, and  Air-conditioning (HVAC) systems as they relate to energy code requirements. Attendees will learn about the most common HVAC systems and  equipment, along with energy-related components and controls. Several important energy code requirements will be reviewed, including what to look for in the field or in system plans. We’ll also talk about how to identify common HVAC system types, important HVAC controls types, and the high-impact energy code sections that relate to HVAC equipment and controls.
