In our first two sessions we discussed control methodologies, point types, developing a sequence and points lists. In part 3 we’ll take a detailed look at chiller plant optimization. We’ll talk about why and how plant optimization differs from the common practice of just controlling the chillers, cooling towers & pumps. We will cover the system requirements for optimization and show you how different optimization strategies can be applied to any chilled water plant,  even if the plant uses air-cooled chillers.
