How to migrate Sensorless Map and Configuration Files from DEPC Gen 1.0 to DEPC Gen 2.5 (Flow-Q)  

 

 

  1. Open the Digital Wrench App, log in, and open the Main Menu.

  2. Select the Productivity tab and launch the Migration Wizard.

  3. Place the existing DEPC Gen 1.0 controller into Wi-Fi Access Point Mode.

  4. Connect your mobile device to the Wi-Fi network matching the Pump Tag displayed on the controller.

  5. Return to the app and select Proceed.

  6. Select Download Files to retrieve the controller configuration file and sensorless map file.

  7. Remove the existing DEPC Gen 1.0 card and install the new Flow-Q (DEPC Gen 2.5) card.

  8. Verify that the dip switch positions on the new card match those on the original controller.

  9. Confirm the replacement in the app to continue.

  10. Connect to the new DEPC Gen 2.5 controller using Bluetooth.

  11. Select Discover via Bluetooth or Scan for Assets.

  12. Choose the new controller from the list and connect.

  13. Allow the Migration Wizard to prepare the downloaded files for upload.

  14. Confirm the file transfer.

  15. Wait while the app uploads the configuration files to the new controller.

  16. Verify the upload status changes from Uploading to Complete.

  17. Cycle power to the controller to activate the transferred configuration settings.

  18. Open the Main Menu and navigate to Equipment Configuration Settings.

  19. Enter the correct Pump Serial Number from the pump nameplate.

  20. Select Save Changes and confirm the update.

  21. Verify or enter the correct Pump Model Number.

  22. Ensure the model number follows the required format, including:
    • Family
    • Series
    • Inlet Size
    • Impeller Size
    • Version
    • Power Code
    • Power Rating
  23. Save the changes and confirm the update.

  24.  Verify both the Pump Serial Number and Pump Model Number before returning the pump to service.

  25. Confirm the migration process has completed successfully.

  26. Verify all configuration settings have been transferred correctly.

  27. Return the pump to normal operation and confirm the system is functioning as expected.
